Readioo, a Swedish Edtech company that develops interactive reading experiences for children, uses OID (Optical Identification) technology to integrate audio into physical books. Readioo's reading pen reads invisible codes printed in books and gives the reader a unique opportunity to listen and read at the same time. Livonia Print, one of Europe's leading book producers, sees great potential in Readioo's solution and now offers the possibility for publishers to print interactive books in their European printing house. This enables publishers to partner with a quality-focused expert in book production and at the same time have their interactive books produced close to home.
To showcase the potential of OID technology, Readioo and Livonia Print will jointly produce demo books that illustrate how the technology can be used on different types of print materials.
