"Mommy, it feels like I can read by myself now" said my youngest daughter this weekend as she sat with her Readioo 1.0 reading pen, in a book and on a poster with letters. She thinks it was so much fun!

My children, and the neighbor children, who were here when I opened the package, think it's great fun to read with the help of the pen.

The whole family loves the reading pen and the book that came with it, The Princess on a visit . We just wished the front could talk too. My youngest daughter asked several times what the book was called. I would also like to be able to follow along in the book with the pen, that it read the words you were on. The stylus reads the entire text on the page in one sweep.

As a teacher, I am incredibly impressed with these products and so glad we got to try them. I hope the books come with more text for older students who have difficulty reading. I will frame the poster and use for students practicing letters and their sounds. I can warmly recommend these products both as a mother and a teacher. They can never replace reading aloud, but a fantastic complement to feeling like you can actually read a book yourself.
